Movement Groups

Movement groups are a great opportunity to connect to your sense of self while in community. Through a trauma-informed lens, Elise offers groups that support safe connection to the body. Movement groups are intended for all bodies and all movement ability levels.  Come prepared to gently move your mind, body, and soul!

Mindful Movement for Every Body

Do you feel unsafe connecting to your body? Do you struggle to engage in movement or do you have an unhealthy relationship with movement? Do you want to build a more trusting and accepting relationship with your body? This group might be the right fit for you! Mindful Movement for Every Body is a therapeutic group intended for individuals looking to safely connect to their bodies through gentle movement.  Elise utilizes principles of Somatic Experiencing, Dance/Movement Therapy, and Pilates to guide participants through an exploration of therapeutic movement.

When: Series occurs in 4 week increments on Thursdays 4-5pm

Where: 1750 S. Brentwood Blvd.

Mindful Movement for Restoration and Rejuvenation

Need a break from life’s hustle and bustle?  This group is for individuals interested in taking a moment to mindfully reconnect to their bodies.  This individual-focused, group experience gives people a greater sense of self-awareness and a more settled nervous system. Elise guides participants through mindful movements and sensory experiences to leave you feeling restored and rejuvenated.  These techniques draw from Dance Movement Therapy and Somatic Experiencing principles. 

When: Saturday, June 1st 10:30am-12pm
